CHRIS McLEISH

Chris McLeish is a Glasgow based actor who graduated with a First Class in his BA Honours Acting degree in 2015, which is one of his proudest achievements. While in training he starred in a number of plays including; Joseph K in The Trial (Steven Berkoff); Daniel in San Diego (David Greig); Vernon God Little (Tanya Ronder) and Love and Information (Caryl Churchill).
His love of music has helped him work towards an extremely varied career thus far. Since graduating he has been in a number of musicals, plays, short films and shows that utilise Actor/Musos. These credits include: Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Beast in “Beauty and the Beast”, Sweeney in “Sweeney Todd”, The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Chauncey (A Kara Davidson Film) and Chloe (Challis-Thompson Film).
Chris has participated for many years in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Fringe credits include: Hanschen in Spring Awakening, Oliver, Irrelevant, Rent, Les Miserables, Brave Macbeth and Rent. This year he'll be in the new comedy Pirate Musical Piramania with Sloshed Theatre and Big Band Does Broadway, a trip though musical theatre history.
Last year he had the pleasure of assisting Hannah in directing Cossi Fan Tutti and is thrilled to be back again this year to assist her whilst also taking on the roles of Blind and Ivan in Die Fledermaus.
