LUKE NORVELL

 

Luke Norvell is a tenor from the state of Washington in the USA entering his third year of undergrad at The Master's University in California where he studies Music Education and Vocal Performance. A former baritone, he has sung bass and baritone roles such as Frank Maurrant in Street Scene, Sprecher and Second Armored Man in Die Zauberflöte, Ben in The Telephone, and Vater in Hänsel und Gretel. He is thrilled to be here to sing his first tenor role on the operatic stage. Immediately after Die Fledermaus, he will be heading to Austin, USA to sing Monostatos, First Priest, and First Armored Man in Die Zauberflöte. On the concert stage, he has appeared as the tenor soloist in Mozart's Requiem and in competition, he has first and second place finishes at the NATS Los Angeles Collegiate Auditions.
