Alla Tkachenko

Biography

Alla Tkachenko is a Ukrainian pianist who grew up in a family of musicians and began playing the piano at the age of six. She studied at the Lviv Music College before continuing her training at the National Music Academy of Ukraine in Kyiv.

After graduating, Alla built a successful career as an accompanist and worked in the Classical Vocal Department of the R. Glier Kyiv Municipal Academy of Music, supporting both faculty and students in their musical development.

From 2022 to 2023, she performed in a number of recitals across Scotland as a guest accompanist with Ukrainian soloists, appearing at venues including Eden Court Theatre and Usher Hall.

Since moving to Toronto in 2024, Alla has continued to enjoy working with singers and instrumentalists in recitals, competitions, and concert performances. She currently works at The Royal Conservatory of Music and the University of Toronto, where she remains an active member of the musical community.
