Our Story

Founded in 2015 by soprano Roxana Nite and conductor Razvan Luculescu, the Clyde Opera Group has made a profound impact on the world of opera.

Our journey began with a memorable production of La Bohème in July 2016, followed by acclaimed performances of Rigoletto, Cosi fan tutte, Die Fledermaus, La Traviata, The Barber of Seville, and Rita.

Our Philosophy

Opera is a mesmerizing art form, blending music, words, and drama to create an immersive experience that captivates audiences from the overture to the final curtain. The power and intensity of live performances, where emotions unfold in real-time before your eyes, add a deep, emotional connection to this timeless art.

Current Season

We are excited to present our upcoming production of Carmen by Georges Bizet on 26th and 27th July 2025 at the Woodside Halls in Glasgow. This will be a fully staged performance with orchestra, sung in French with English translation. Join us for this passionate and dramatic opera featuring our talented international cast and the Orchestra of Clyde Opera Group.

To make opera more accessible, we offer a range of ticket options to suit every budget, including discounted tickets for various groups.
