Biography

Elizabeth Wells graduated from Westminster Choir College of Rider University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music in 2011. Elizabeth had the chance to work with great conductors such as James Jordan, Amanda Quist and Yannik Nezet-Seguin. Choral works include Rachmaninov’s The Bells and Bernstein’s Mass.

In 2017 Elizabeth went to study her Masters in Vocal Performance at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. During her education she performed scenes from Le Nozze Di Figaro (Marcellina) and The Consul (Magda Sorel). Since graduating, she performed in La Cenerentola (Clorinda) and Le Nozze di Figaro (Marcellina) with Lyric Opera Studio Weimar, Dido and Aeneas (The Sorceress) with Glasgow University Opera Society and Carmen (Mercedes) with North Wales Opera Studio.

Elizabeth is passionate about directing and directed a chamber opera called The Beautiful Bridegroom during her time at the Royal Conservatoire.

Elizabeth is looking forward to working in her first production with Clyde Opera Group.
